#FeatureFriday - Simon

For this week’s #FeatureFriday We thought we’d offer you an insight into the machinations and developments going on in our world.  Things are changing here at LDL and we’re excited to tell you all about it! In that vein, we’d like to turn the spotlight upon Simon.

LDL's Man in Question

Simon is Head of Operations here at LDL, which in his own words means, “he insures we deliver on our promises to customers and in doing so constantly seek ways to improve.” Though for us lot here, it feels more like he does everything from helping the company run to keeping the Nespresso machine prepped and ready!

Something of a new addition to the team, he’s only been with us for 7 months, but we feel like he’s already an important part of the LDL family. Simon is a quintessential aspect of the improvements taking place with the business. From the management buyout, and our recruitment drive, to the design of our special reception/bar project. We’re committed to constantly improving and refining how we work. As with everything we do, every decision has you, the customer, in mind.

Perhaps Simon said it better himself, “LDL doesn’t compare to anywhere else I’ve ever been. The passion and drive everyone has towards looking after the customer is something special that knocks your socks off in a really unique way. Come and say hello and you’ll see what I mean!”

While new to us, he’s something of an expert in his field. After having spent more years than he cares to divulge working with all things Kitchen, Bedroom, and Bathroom, he brings with him an invaluable wealth of knowledge. That why we’re so excited to have him aboard, to help us help you and support LDL’s future.

Going forward, he talked about how excited he was about an upcoming visit to Blum’s headquarters in Austria with the LDL team this December. “It’s a great opportunity, getting to see the home of the industries motion experts.” It’s a golden ticket to step into the heart of the high-tech furniture fitting world of Blum. It really is a must have on the bucket list of every KBB enthusiast. And don’t worry, we’ll be keeping you updated every step of the way!

We’d like to leave you with some words from the man himself. When asked, “Why should people choose LDL? Simon said that it’s all about the passion we have for service and quality. People care and it matters to each and every one of us. It’s that simple.” We couldn’t have put it better ourselves!
